2015 NFL Draft Rankings (11/25/14)
The 2015 Draft is still a ways off, but scouts are starting to dig into each prospect's abilities, background (both on and off the field) and level of commitment to football.
We have updated our Big Board as some prospects have started to emerge as legitimate first round talents and other have begun to slide down the board.
A new addition has been added at the quarterback position, Colorado State's Garrett Grayson, one of the most efficient college quarterbacks this season has officially made the board. Watch for Grayson's name to skyrocket over these next few months with his performance in the Senior Bowl and workouts with coaches. He is an accurate passer, who understands defenses, coverages and is a talented pocket passer who can deliver the ball with pinpoint accuracy.
Marcus Mariota (Oregon); retains the top overall spot. Mariota, with his combination of size, speed, accuracy, and athleticism are head and shoulders above any other quarterback in this year's draft class.
Todd Curley still holds down the top running back spot, even after the injury to his knee a few weeks ago. If he can return back to his old form, he is the most dynamic runner that has come out since Adrian Peterson. Ameer Abdullah was dropped from the list as he has over 25 fumbles in his career. Three is no denying his talents, but he must learn to have better ball security.
The lone defensive player in our top five ranking is Leonard Williams, the stout defensive tackle from USC. Williams has the versatility to line up inside or slide outside and rush the quarterback. Williams has the skill set and measurables that will make a few teams consider taking him first overall.
Some other new additions to board on the offensive side of the ball are A.J. Cann (South Carolina) a big powerful guard who has overpowered and manhandled his way through the SEC's best defensive tackles. Rashad Greene (Florida State) has been one of the most consistent producers throughout his career at Florida State. A smooth route runner who showcases excellent hands, he has made the leap onto the top-32 rankings.
A lot will change between now and the first pick of the draft. As it stands now, this is my Top-32 Big Board. We will update the board at the end of every month throughout the college football season.
