NHL Futures odds – which team is the favorite to win the Stanley Cup in 2015? Odds courtesy of Bovada.lv.

Most of the major moves in the offseason have already been made and team rosters are nearly set. With the 2014-15 season fast approaching we look at how the odds to win the Stanley Cup have changed for each NHL team.

The Chicago Blackhawks remain the favorite to win the title as their odds improved from 7/1 to 13/2. The Hawks reached eight-year deals with star forwards Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane in July, giving each player $84 million.

Reigning champions, the Los Angeles Kings, are now the second favorites at 9/1. The Kings moved ahead of Boston as the Bruins' odds decreased from 8/1 to 10/1 when Jarome Iginla left town, Boston still has not replaced his 30 goals.

The Stars saw the biggest improvement as their odds went from 33/1 to 20/1. Dallas has been busy this offseason trading for center Jason Spezza and adding Ales Hemsky to play with Tyler Seguin and star forward Jamie Benn.

Bookmakers have spoken and Vancouver was a loser in the Ryan Kesler trade. The Canucks avoided the drama of another Roberto Luongo saga but the team lost one of its best players. Vancouver's Stanley Cup odds decreased from 25/1 to 40/1.

Buffalo, Calgary, Florida and Nashville are 75/1 long shots to win the Cup. That's ok with them as each club is in contention for the worst record in the league and the No. 1 draft pick. The coveted prizes: Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel, two of the most hyped prospects since Sidney Crosby.
