MLB team over/under trends – which teams consistently go over the total?

MLB teams, on average, have played 66 games out of the 162 game schedule. With more than a third of the MLB season complete, now is a good time to look at MLB team over/under trends.

The Marlins have been the most consistent team in baseball with 61.7 percent of Miami's games going over the total. The Marlins are second in the National League with 292 runs scored. This was not the case last season as Miami was near the bottom of the league with just 42.8 percent of games played going over the posted total.

On the opposite end of the spectrum is the San Diego Padres. The Friars, 14.5 games out of first in the NL West, have seen just 34.9 percent of their games go over. San Diego has scored nearly a 100 fewer runs than Miami this season.

MLB team over/under treads – inverse winning percentage for under results.
