At the bottom of this group we find our defending Super Bowl Champions, the New York Football Giants. There is not a lot of faith in a repeat champion among the betting community. However there wasn’t a lot of faith in the Giants until they went 3-1 to finish last season and win the NFC East along with a playoff berth.

The good news for the teams stuck in the middle is that their fates can change and rather quickly. Of the twelve teams to make the playoffs in 2011, only six of them were there the previous year. Every year since 1996 at least five teams that made the playoffs the prior year did not return the following season.

What do the Colts, Vikings, Browns, and Jaguars have in common besides the worst odds to win the Super Bowl? They have young unproven QBs. In a QB driven league that is a problem. In my best Marko voice from Taken, Good luck!
