    By John Ewing

Pretty Boy Floyd is set to defend his WBC Welterweight Title against Ring No. 3 Welterweight, Robert Guerrero. Fight odds and prop bets listed below.

Floyd “Money” Mayweather will return to the ring on May 4, 2013 for the first time since being released from jail (served 2 months for domestic abuse). Mayweather (43-0, 26 knockouts) will defend his title Saturday night against Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (31-1-1, 18 knockouts).

Mayweather is a heavy favorite even though he has not fought in nearly a year, a unanimous decision against Miguel Cotto. Even though Vegas thinks Money Mayweather is the favorite Floyd may have doubts as he putt a rematch clause in the contract.

    WBC welterweight title

    • Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. -750 (2/15)
    • Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero +475 (19/4)

For sportsbooks, Mayweather's name brings a lot of attention to a fight. While that may seem like a good thing it does leave books vulnerable.

“As is the case in many of Mayweather's recent fights, with him being such a big favorite we see a ton of dog money with bettors looking for the big payout. That's once again the case this Saturday. The book can take a real hit if Guerrero can pull off the upset paying out at +475 and if he were to win by KO at 7/1, that would essentially ruin what has been a decent year for us in Boxing.”

No one feels bad for casinos but we know whom the books will be backing.
