    The Boston Bruins were seventy-six seconds from forcing a game 7. Two goals within seventeen seconds gave Chicago its second Stanley Cup in four seasons.

    The Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup as a -140 favorite to win the series. We gave Chicago a 59.9% chance to win with the most likely outcome being a seven game series.

    Patrick Kane won the Conn Smythe Trophy; the Most Valuable Player of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Kane, only the fourth American to win the trophy, had 7/1 odds to win before the Stanley Cup Finals began per Bovada.lv.

    Chicago rattled off a 24 game unbeaten streak at the start of the season and rallied from a 2-1 series deficit to clinch the series. The Blackhawks may have started and finished as the best team this season, but they are already dogs to repeat as champions.

    The Pittsburgh Penguins are the favorites to win the 2014 Stanley Cup at 13/2 odds followed closely by the reigning champions Chicago Blackhawks at 15/2.
