Major League Baseball's Winter Meetings started an avalanche of offseason moves including trades and free agent signings.

How did the major transactions impact the odds to win the 2015 World Series?

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been busy flipping Dee Gordon and Dan Haren for Jimmy Rollins and Howie Kendrick. The defending NL West Champions also acquired Brandon McCarthy and traded Matt Kemp for Yasmani Grandal. The Dodgers are still 15/2 favorites to win the World Series.

The Chicago Cubs were the biggest winners in terms of positive change in World Series odds. Baseball's Lovable Losers got a new manager in Joe Maddon, signed Jon Lester to a six year $155 million deal, traded for catcher Miguel Montero and signed right hander Jason Hammel. The Cubbies' Fall Classic odds fell from 50/1 to 12/1.

The Red Sox lost out on Jon Lester but revamped the rotation with the additions of Wade Miley, Rick Porcello and Justin Masterson. Boston also added two of the best offensive players on the market in Hanley Ramirez and Pablo Sandoval. The Red Sox are the second favorites to win the World Series after the team's odds dropped from 22/1 to 9/1.

As Boston was making moves the rival New York Yankees were relatively quiet to start the offseason. The Bronx Bombers signed Didi Gregorius, Derek Jeter's replacement, which did little to improve the Yanks' World Series odds. New York's odds have slipped as the Yankees are 25/1 to win it all.
